May 16th, 2008Most people think of extramarital affairs as sexual flings. These can happen for just one night, and some go on for years. What most don’t know is that getting too close to anyone outside a marriage, even when sex is not involved, is something that is called an emotional affair. This might mean a wife feels unappreciated, so she starts pouring her troubles out to a guy she knows as a friend. After a while, she looks forward to spending all her spare time with him, and is investing all of her emotional energy into him rather than into her marriage. This is commonly how emotional affairs happen.
