Who Should Pay?
March 29th, 2007In today’s day and age, it is often very hard to decide who should pay on dates. There are many schools of thought about this, whether or not the man should always pay, or whether or not the check should be split.
It usually depends on who has asked the other person out. If a man calls a woman to ask for a date, whether or not it is a blind date or whether or not they have seen each other before, the man should pay. The same should go for the woman, because if she asks the man out, she should take care of the bill. A good way to ask someone out is to say right upfront, “Can I take you out for dinner?” which means that you will be paying for dinner, so there isn’t any question about who the bill belongs to.
