Sending Flowers Tips And Advice

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Flowers are beautiful, plentiful, and come in all of the colors of the rainbow. Sending flowers has been a standby in romantic relationships since the dawn of time.

With the popularity of e-commerce, most florists, especially larger chains, allow you to send flowers by ordering them online. This is particularly helpful if you’re not quite sure what you want or you want a particular flower arrangement; you can see what you’re ordering before you buy it instead of having your order explained to you over the phone. If the florist you want to order from doesn’t have a website, then the sites from other florists can also give you an idea of what you want to order, even if in the end you make your order over the phone.

Valentines day ideas

Friday, March 30th, 2007

Though romance cannot be defined by a single day, many try to do it with a day in mid February. Many couples look to Valentine’s Day as a day to show the other person how much they care. The problem with this is that there is a lot of stress associated with the day, and many feel if it doesn’t go well, the relationship is doomed. This is silly, of course, because it is only one day. However, if you are looking to make that day extra special for your love, you need some good Valentine’s Day ideas to get you started.

Valentime’s should not be only day you exprsess your love

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

There are certain holidays/festivals of the year that I can justify gift buying and receiving. Valentine’s Day has always been somewhat of a mystery to me. Why should there be only one designated day of the year to show someone how much you love them? Does that mean that the other 364 days of the year you’re exempt from expressing your love for someone? I think that Valentines Day is just some holiday that the candy makers and florists profit from, so we make a huge ordeal out of it. Suddenly, when February arrives, couples rack their brains over what to do for Valentine’s Day. For married couples, there isn’t too much of a dilemma – tradition usually prevails. But, for newly dating couples, it becomes a dramatic situation. They don’t want to appear too mushy so early in a relationship, but don’t want to seem unromantic. I remember being in their shoes and hating the holiday with a passion. When you’ve been dating for a while, it can still be dramatic as the females may start hoping for a ring for Valentine’s Day. What a mess! Read more romantic valentine stories.

How Valentine’s day begins

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

Ever wonder how Valentine’s Day started? It all started with a Catholic priest called Valentine. The Rome emperor at that time,Emperoor Claudius decree that since it’s difficult to recruit men
into his army, he banned the marriage of young men. Unsatisfied these men seek the humble priest to solemize their marriage. Unhappy Cladius decreed that Valentime be thrown into prison and touched a prison guard allowed his yuong daughter to vist the ill fated Valentine, before his
death, Valentime presented her with a letter, which is where the tradition of sending cards started.
Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s time to start thinking of some fresh ideas to make your Valentine’s day a special one. Every February 14th, people across the world send greetings of love and friendship celebrating Valentines Day. Candy and flowers are popular gifts, expressing our love and esteem of the recipients. How couple celebrate Valentine’s Day

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

When it comes to days when tradition dictates that we send greeting cards to each other, some people are rather cynical whilst others get into the spirit of it. For old romantics, Valentine’s Day is a welcome opportunity to show their partner, the depth of their devotion. Some people send cards anonymously in the hope of pricking someone’s attention. Others resent the amount of money that the greetings card industry makes but I think that everyone enjoys receiving valentines, even if they won’t admit it. It’s mostly women who send the cards; so more guys need to get on board. Get more romantic valentine stories.

Valentines Day Candy Box

Saturday, February 3rd, 2007

I walked several stores to see what offerings were available this year in the chocolate category. Mostly the typical Valentines Day heart shaped red/pink candy boxes caught my eye. Surprisingly, the Valentine heart box has changed very little over the years. It has a few ruffles, banners or flowers but essentially it is the same old box. What a waste to not expand the marketing effort and maximize the package to increase sales….
