Try to let him know how it is making you feel. Let him know how it is bothering you, frustrating you, hurting you, or anything else. Try to be direct so that he will understand what ignoring you is making you feel like. A guy who is dating you that cares about you will not want to continue to make you feel this way.
Try to get a basic understanding about what is going on in his life. He might be very busy or in a frustrating situation himself that is making it hard to really talk and connect with you. If you understand this, it might make it easier on you.
Ask him to communicate with you better before getting busy like this. If he were to tell you about having to work on something for a few days and being out of touch, knowing ahead of time will make it easier on you. Tell him that it is fair to do this and you will do the same for him.
He might be going through something that is really tough in other parts of his life. Some guys don’t open up too well when feeling pain like this. He might just need to be alone at the present time. Be there for him but don’t be too pushy.
Realize that your guy might be feeling guilty about something. It has happened before when a boyfriend makes a mistake that is going to really hurt you. He will stop contacting you and try to avoid you.
Take initiative. Let him know you want a relationship. If he does not talk to you or spend time with you, you may just have to let him go versus trying to wait for him to change.
