Dating Relationships Love

Camping Minnesota observing love

Do you want to help your teenage child with their dating relationships? One thing I have found useful over the years is to take a family vacation and invite the boyfriend or girlfriend along. There are some Minnesota facts people just don’t understand.  I really like to do camping trips when I’m trying this. There is enough supervision that the kids are not going to get into trouble but you can observe them closely is a setting that is low tension. You can really get to know your child’s friend sitting around the campfire eating a wholesome meal. I usually try and involve the guest in some of the daily activities such as the boys I have find firewood and the girls I have help clean up the dishes. This is an excellent time for talk as my child is off doing something else so it’s just me and him/her. The feeling he gets from sharing his thoughts and feelings with an adult that isn’t his parent gives him some satisfaction also. Then when evening comes you can observe how your guest treats your child and how your child treats your guest. It’s best not to make corrections real time here, wait until you have your child along and then discuss the matter.
