A long talk on the way to southern Minnesota
March 6th, 2008I decided to take my girlfriend on one of my southern Minnesota vacations and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. We were having a few problems and I think a big share of those problems was coming from the everyday stress of just living. Originally I had planned this vacation just for me to get away her for a while and to allow me to sort things out. At the last minute I decided that I really wanted some company so I asked her to go and she accepted. The five hour drive up there gave us a good opportunity to talk and sort a lot of issues out. By the time we reached the resort we had almost all of our relationship problems solved. I have started to talk to her more and let her into my life and she has begun to be less demanding. With that much of a load off our chests we were able to just sit back and relax and enjoy our trip. It brought us so much closer together I can’t believe it. I guess it’s just like they say, you really do have to talk to each other no matter what gets in the way.
