This tells us that male infertility is increasing based on the rising use of ICSI. ICSI is a medical technique where the doctor will inject a single sperm into the egg for a successful conception. Help getting pregnant with ICSI is not that overwhelming.
Many couples assume that impotence or decreased masculinity are the cause of infertility. There many causes that decrease the sperm quality. Environmental toxins could be the primary factor of male infertility. Furthermore, our diet produce has some negative impact on the endocrine system.
In another study by the Canadian researches, older men are found with DNA damage in their sperm. Men who are over 45 have twice amount of DNA damage as compared to men under 30 years old.
The most common identifiable cause of infertility in men is varicocele. This is the result of the enlargement of the veins in the scrotum that increase the temperature in the testis. For production of healthy sperm and testosterone, the enzymes need optimal temperature for best operation. Just a rise of one degree in the temperature can devastate the production of the headily sperm and testosterone.
Now you can’t argue that infertility is a woman’s problem. As we are lucky enough with the latest technology in the medical field, you should be rest assured that there are some treatments that can fix your fertility problems. However, treating any health issues is not going to be cheap.
If you are having trouble getting pregnant, ask your husband see a doctor for semen analysis. After all, women should not be the only one to be blamed for not able to get pregnant.
